The Humberto Canale Winery in Patagonia was founded in 1909 by the engineer who gave his name to it. By injecting his professional know- how and creativity into the region, Humberto showed the world that this extremely cold part of Patagonia along the Upper Valley of the Rio Negro river possesses a very special terroir.
Four generations on, the winery now combines a traditional artesenal touch with the most modern technology, producing very different, quality wines that characterise the unusual climate and fertile valleys of this remote corner of Argentina.
